The Raya Post

Slept for 2 hours. Woke up and felt so shitty, but then everything got better after socializing with the wellingtonians at MSD Hari Raya Celebration. Well, it helps me to forget about what have happened this morning, altho its just for awhile. huhu.

I can't do anything about it pon cuz dah lepas. For now, I'm gonna concentrate with my INFO 101; the last paper of the trimester. Alhamdulillah.

So lets talk about Raya!

1st raya was the day i ate like i havent been eating for years. Palie made us Kuah Kacang, Lodeh and Nasi Himpit! yummy. The comforting food I had after a bad morning. Continued by Flat 39 Everton Hall's open house. Hosted by the flat 39 peeps, Kantoi di 409 peeps and some Edu lads.
So thanks to you guys for inviting us, and for the food (love the pegedil especially) of course. Sedap!! hee. Then before going back to Weir, we went down to flat 41 Everton Hall (Kak Umi's house) .. beraya sat and straight to weir after that.

And My first Hari Raya outfit:
theme - Nature Lover
color - Greenish Brown. Earth colors? leh nak kata la.

The baju was not chosen by me. It was my mom's choice. And this year, I dressed up very differently. Not to say last year's baju was not nice, i lof all of em but not as daring as this one! Dah lama tak pakai silk..cuz I lof to wear cotton baju kurung. Plus, this baju is quite big for me (not the length but the width) so i looked like a pregnant dwarf. haha. I know "my-wellington's-best-crowd" dah bosan dgr me complaining a lot about the baju, but I still love the baju, seriously the corak was nice (i lof cheetah!). Besides, trying a new thing is good ;)?

'Cheetah' is what they called me for the day. raarrrrr~! garang tak? hihi.

Ibu sent me 2 pairs of baju kurung for hari raya. So today I wore the other one.

Second Hari Raya outfit:
theme - yummy banana
color - its banana, so mestilah yellow!

A simple but lovely choice by Ibu. Honestly I've never tot I'd get this color as my baju raya, as yellow wasnt too attractive for me, and I know some of you even realized how I lof to wear red and black (am I rite Haz, Nana, Nonie and Palie??). If I have a choice, yellow will not be the color. Haha yang mana tak nak laa dapat ye. takpe, still suke :)

Actually the reason why I called "yummy banana" is because qisu, ah hui, haz and nonie were calling me banana tadi. So I added up the word yummy infront.

Hurm I think starting next year, I'd leave to my mother to choose for me my own baju raya. Surprise me Ibu! haha.

Well life is full with surprises. if Life is too predictable, it will be too dull and less fun-ner kan? You never know how is the exam questions will be like (until u sit for it), you never know how ur marks gonna be(until u've gt the results), you never know when u're going to die, you never know who's your future husband/wife, you never know what will happen to you in an hour time, or tomorrow, next month, next year, the future.. so macam mana pon u can never expect whats gonna happen next. You can only plan but yeah only Him will determine how's it going to be. He knows whats best for you. But its still possible for you to get whatever you want but with syarat.. u have to work HARD for it. So I've told myself, if I didnt score means I didnt work as hard as I should be. Bad news are hard to accept, but no matter what you still have to accept it with open arms, and try to improve ur self in the future.

I love surprises in a way. Like for an example, I'm interested to know whos gonna surprise me with the word "I like you" or "I love you". I'm soo looking foward if I'm gonna get a prezzie from my friends; the unexpected gift from any of ur friends that u'll love so much. I love good news or good things happen that u didnt see em coming. Like, you won a contest with a great prize for instance. or an A+ on your result transcript. The feeling mmg superb.

as for now, all I have to do is to pray and hope for the best. If things didnt go so well, then I'll accept as they are. But yeah who wants bad news? Especially now, well I just gt another bad news from home;ayah is sick- he's suspected dengue. Today he's gonna go for another checkup and if things are still not good, hes gonna be warded.

For sure I'm like soo friggin worried! Bad news keep on coming in after one another. I just can't wait to go back home. The rest sounded okay, yeah they're still calm (well im the one who's always panic pon. not them) but I can't see them so being the gelabah type of person.. only God knows how worried I am now. I feel bad cuz they can't really enjoy their raya while me, i was having fun. Haih.

To the ones at home, I really2 wanna be there with all of you and I hope my prayers will be granted. I know all of you are strong and yeah, keep it up! stay calm. We'll get thru this guys. We will. Aminn.

And special shout out to Palie: I'm so terharu when you said you will not let our raya ruined(since we all have exams) by making us raya food. I really appreciate everything u've done for all of us. and definitely, i lof ur company. U're the best!

I tot I'm gonna have a not-so-good raya but instead I had a not-so-bad one. So to everyone who celebrated raya with me, I thank you.

Okay enuff for now. Off to bed with the hope that I'll feel so much better when I woke up.

cuz I wanna call my parents, but I'm not ready. isk.
